Coaching Development 2015

In January I went to a brilliant BE home coaches training day at the Unicorn Trust Stow on the Wold. Such a lot of info to take in from Nick Burton, Rachel Murray, Charlie Unwin, and Yogi Breisner.

Be Home coaches

During the last couple of weeks I have taken some days out for learning. As a BE coach I recently took the opportunity to observe some of the world class training sessions with Tracie Robinson and Yogi Breisner. This was a brilliant day and it's not difficult to see why they are able to train to such a high standard.

This week I took a trip to Hartpury for the International Eventers Forum. This was a very informative day with Christopher Hess (Dressage), Hugh Suttern and Charlie Longsdon (Fitness) and lastly Andrew Nicholson who manages to make everything look easy. He had some very good jumping excises specifically for event horses.

New Year Update 2015

We have been to various indoor shows including; Addington Mannor, Merrist Wood and Parwood. The horses all jumped very well with some placings.

We have had a couple of weeks off over Christmas and are looking forward to getting back out in 2015.

Below are some pictures of Prince and Mulsane jumping at Addington,

Tweseldown and BCA

Have had a great time eventing at the weekend at Tweseldown and then BCA on Wednesday on Prince. Really pleased with how he is coming of age and especially keen to leave the start box XC!!

A spooky stop SJ at Tweseldown on a good dressage of 31, clear with just a few time XC. Then double clear at BCA on a dressage of 27, again with just a few time XC.

Carly was also out at BCA on Toddy at her first Novice. A respectable 35.5 dressage, 2 down SJ as she missed on a related distance, then a super clear XC with some time as taking it steady.
